St Giles 35th Anniversary Workshop (Sat Mar 10- Sun Mar 11)

2018 ball weekend registration

Red Deer Workshop (Apr 6-8, 2018)

The Red Deer Scottish Country Dancers are busy preparing for our 2018 spring workshop which will be held on April 6, 7 and 8. For the first time we are going to hold the ceilidh, the classes and the ball at the Radisson Hotel, 6500 67 Street, Red Deer. The hotel offers excellent accommodation, a hot breakfast buffet, and indoor pool, fitness room, steam room, games room, parking and Wi-Fi, all under the same roof.

Rebecca Blackhall Peters and Betsy Brydon will conduct classes at the social and challenge levels. Music for the ball will be provided by Ron Krug and Dennis Orr.

We are looking forward to a great workshop and we hope that you will join us.

Snowdrop Social” on Saturday February 17, 2018

The Comox Valley Scottish Country Dancers invite you to our “Snowdrop Social” on Saturday February 17, 2018.
Please come and join us for lunch, dancing and tea at the Florence Filberg Centre Rotary Hall in Courtenay.
The cost is $20 per person, paid at the door.

Heather Ball, Vancouver (Saturday, March 17)

This year’s Heather Ball in Vancouver has Muriel Johnstone as our prime musician,  so we are hoping that lots of dancers will want to come for the weekend!
Billets are available for the asking, also the Coast Hotel (a few short blocks away) may be able to provide a special rate.  Tickets are $80 for the ball on Saturday, $20 for the concert on Sunday or $95 for both events.
